Love Quote Wallpapers: Original Phone Images to Save and Share
Choose three original love-quote phone wallpapers, save the full PNG and share it with a personal note. Includes a plain Home Screen companion.
A love-quote wallpaper can be a small personal gift: a few words the person would enjoy seeing, saved as a phone background. Choose a short line, keep it readable and leave space for the clock and controls. Send the image as an option they can use, with a note explaining why you chose it.
Here are three original phone PNGs with different messages, plus a plain companion background for the Home Screen. The words and artwork were created for this guide. They are not quotations attributed to a famous writer, song lyrics or customer designs.
Choose a finished wallpaper
Each image is a 1,200-by-2,600-pixel portrait PNG. The quote sits near the middle, with open space above and below. That is the design's shape, not a promise that every phone will crop it or position its clock in the same way. Check the actual preview before setting it.
1. For everyday appreciation

You make
the ordinary
worth keeping.
Choose it for: the small routines you like sharing. The accompanying note can name one of them, such as the walk home or the tea you make together.
2. For someone you miss

I keep finding you
in the small things
that make me smile.
Choose it for: someone who is part of your day even when you are apart. Put the actual small detail in your message rather than adding a long explanation to the picture.
3. For quiet time together

A quiet day
with you
is still my favourite.
Choose it for: someone with whom the ordinary afternoon matters. It can go with a note about the easy day you enjoyed, without making a promise about every day ahead.
Lock Screen or Home Screen?
The Lock Screen is where the clock, notifications and unlock controls may appear. It is a useful place for a short quote when the phone's actual layout leaves those words clear. Preview with the clock and controls visible; the empty area in an image alone does not show the final result.
The Home Screen is where app icons and labels sit. A quote behind several rows of icons may be hard to read. You can keep the quote on the Lock Screen and use a simpler image behind the apps.
Open the text-free Home Screen companion PNG. It uses a warm plain background with light line work near the bottom. It is another original image, without words, clocks, icons or hidden controls.
Let the person choose where the image belongs. A wallpaper can also stay as a saved picture if that is how they would rather keep the message.
Save the actual image, not a screenshot of the page
- Open the full-size PNG for the design you chose.
- Use your browser or device's save-image or download option. Keep the resulting PNG somewhere you can find it.
- Open that saved file. Check that it contains the complete quote and that no page buttons or browser bars are part of the picture.
- Attach the original file when you send it, using the delivery option your messaging or email app supports.
A screenshot of the article can include the caption and shorten the wallpaper's shape. The supplied PNG is the actual artwork. If an app makes the received image look fuzzy, check whether you can send it as a file and inspect the copy that arrived.
Set the wallpaper using your phone's supported controls
These are starting points from the current official iPhone and Pixel help pages. Use the controls available on your own phone and check its preview. No device setup or crop test was performed to create the examples here.
On an iPhone
Apple's wallpaper guide directs you to Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper. Choose Photos and select the saved image. After adjusting the preview, tap Add. Set as Wallpaper Pair uses the choice for both screens; Customize Home Screen lets you make a separate Home Screen choice. Use the option that matches where you want the quote.
On a Pixel phone
Google's Pixel wallpaper guide starts from an empty part of the Home Screen: touch and hold, then open Wallpapers & style. Choose your saved photo through the wallpaper options, review the preview and choose the intended screen before applying. Pixel controls and available options can vary with the phone and software version.
Other phones have their own manufacturer instructions. A control with a similar name may work differently, so use the phone's own help rather than assuming the iPhone or Pixel steps are universal.
Check what the clock and icons cover
Look at the actual wallpaper preview with the clock, widgets and controls you use. Check the first and last word, not only the middle of the quote. If the image is enlarged or cropped, adjust the position using the available controls and look again.
If the quote does not fit comfortably with that layout, choose another available clock or widget arrangement, use the text-free background, or keep the quote as a picture instead. A message should remain easy to read; the gift does not depend on forcing the phone into a different setup.
For the Home Screen, check the words and icons together. The plain companion can keep the apps clear while the fuller message appears on the Lock Screen. Save your previous background if you want an easy way to return to it.
A complete message to send with the gift
This is an original illustrative note for the everyday-appreciation design:
I chose this little background because I was thinking about our walks home and the tea we make afterwards. Those ordinary parts of the day are some of my favourite things with you. I've attached the full image if you fancy using it on your phone, or just keeping it as a picture.
Replace the walks and tea with a real detail. The note is where the wallpaper becomes personal; you do not need to put names, a long anniversary message or a signature over the clock area.
For someone far away, you could write:
I passed the little bakery we used to stop at and thought of you. This line seemed right, so I'm sending the picture with it. Use it wherever you like; I just wanted to share the moment.
The bakery is an invented detail for this example. Use your own memory, and let the recipient decide whether to set the image, save it or leave it in the conversation.
If you make your own version
Begin with a short sentence you would actually say to the person. Keep it to one thought. “Thank you for everything you have ever done” might become “You make room for me,” with the specific explanation in the accompanying note.
Use a background with a clear difference between the lettering and the picture. Leave open space for the phone's interface, then check the exported file in the actual wallpaper preview. Names, longer words or a different font can need new line breaks.
Keep your editable design if you plan to revise it, and export a viewing image to give. For this job, the final test is the background on the chosen phone; the artwork's appearance inside an editor is only one part of it.
Questions about love-quote wallpapers
Are these lines from songs or famous writers?
No. They are original short lines written for these designs. You can share the supplied PNG as a personal wallpaper gift; the image is not a personalised music recording.
Can I use the same image on both screens?
Use the options your phone provides and check both previews. App icons may cover the quote on the Home Screen, so a text-free companion can be the clearer choice there.
Will a PNG play music?
No. These are static picture files. If you want to give a recording too, send its actual listening link separately and explain which item it opens.
If you want the longer story heard as well
The wallpaper can be the whole gift. If there is a longer personal story you want to share through music, you can start a Songbond song with your own names, memories and message. Keep the short line on the background and give the finished listening link separately.
For an occasion message to read rather than use as a background, see making a personal digital greeting card. It completes a different gift: a designed message to open and read.
